Protein-packed, full of fiber and low on fat, oats are designed to boost your energy levels and help you lead a healthy lifestyle! This breakfast bowl is power packed with vitamins, antioxidants protein and fibre and will keep you full and satisfied for hours!
Apple overnight oats
Phase 4 Onwards
Serves 1
Ingredients
40grams steel cut or gluten free oats
1 teaspoon goji berries or raisins
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
100ml Apple Juice
1 apple, such as Cox or Pink Lady, cored and grated
1 tsp ground flaxseed
1 tsp Almond Butter or nut butter of choice
1 tbsp plain soya or coconut yogurt
Directions
1. Combine the oats, goji berries or raisins and cinnamon in a mixing bowl.
2. Stir in the almond milk, transfer to a food container, cover and chill overnight.
3. The next morning, stir through the grated apple, ground flaxseed, nut butter and yoghurt.
4. Scatter over the nuts and serve.
